Miyazaki Enterprises was founded on the principles of striving to be better and improving upon the status quo.

From developing a better way for residents to train and gain experience with vaginal surgery to creating a standardized, anatomically correct simulator for allied health gynecologic education, Miyazaki Enterprises has always operated with the student and instructor in mind.

Dr. Miyazaki is the son of Dr. Fred Miyazaki, inventor of the Miya Hook and a pioneer of the Saline Amnioinfusion technique for managing repetitive variable fetal heart rate decelerations during obstetrical deliveries.

Dr. Miyazaki, the founder of Miyazaki Enterprises and a Board-Certified OB/GYN, completed both medical school and residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Innovation and problem solving have always been a part of the Miyazaki tradition.

Miyazaki Enterprises has taken a rigorous scientific and academically focused approach to developing the Miya Model. Three generous grants from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) have aided in funding the development and validation of the Miya Model and its associated education platform. We continuously strive to validate the Miya Model to ensure we provide the best tools for your simulation needs.
